Center for Urban Poverty Solutions
a program of the University Area Enrichment Association
What does a great employee look like? Not easy to tell, but one thing is for sure, great employees want to work and appreciate the opportunity to work.
Work..."Works", is designed for employers who want to give jobs to people who are working to liberate themselves from the cycle of poverty.
Based on a Labor Leasing model, it manages an employer's liability risks while allowing then to give candidates a chance to prove themselves under a designated probationary period, until they are ready to offer them formal employment.
This provides candidates the dignity of working to earn an employment opportunity that can ultimately help them escape poverty and provide for their families; while giving the employer a way to truly make a positive impact in the community. (Click here for Employer Overview)
