Why are our helping efforts often ineffective?                    Why do they sometimes hurt?

Too often our well-meaning efforts to help people living in poverty are not very effective, and even worse sometimes they can actually hurt.

This workshop will help both professionals and volunteer practitioners to be better at engaging families and helping them work to break free from poverty and its impact on their lives.
